Activities

National Honor Society –

The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization for high school students in the United States and outlying territories, which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Student Council –

Student council members act as direct representatives of the students by bringing ideas to the council based on what students want or need. All members are expected to maintain good grades and act as positive influences within the school. They are voted to become a representative by the student body.

Close Up –

Informs, inspires, and empowers young people to exercise the rights and accept the responsibilities of citizens in a democracy. The Close Up Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic education organization in Washington, D.C. Established in 1971, Close Up offers programming to educate and encourage young people to participate in their civic affairs and government. About 850,000 students and teachers have participated in its programs.

National FFA Organization –

The National FFA Organization is committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways. So today, we are still the Future Farmers of America. But, we are the Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers and Future Entrepreneurs of America, too.
